KNOWLEDGE CLAIMS AND PHILOSOPHICAL ASSUMPTIONS
Quantitative and qualitative research are the two frameworks of research that are commonly used in inquiry. These are the two approaches in research also called research methodologies. In this section, I briefly outline what claims each framework state in outlining the differences between quantitative and qualitative research (Crotty, 1998; Creswell, 1998, 2003; Strauss & Corbin, 1994; Yamashita & Espinosa, 2015)
